Job Overview


We are looking for a motivated and resultsdriven Business Development Officer to join our team at Desh Bhagat University. As a Business Development Officer you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining relationships with potential clients and promoting our universitys courses and programs. This is a fulltime position with a focus on business development sales and client management. The job location is Chandigarh Chandigarh India and we are looking for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Proven experience in business development sales or a similar role 13 years).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Selfmotivated with a resultsoriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the education industry and current market trends.
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients stakeholders and industry professionals.
  • Promote our universitys courses and programs to potential students and clients.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and business targets.
  • Prepare sales pitches and presentations to effectively communicate our offerings.
  • Participate in industry events conferences and exhibitions to showcase our university.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services to clients.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and competitor activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the enrollment process.
