At time of application you must be a citizen national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a noncitizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at a regionallyaccredited college/university in the United States. In order to receive credit for the education a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided. We also reserve the right to request further information about your academic program evidence of comparability or an original transcript.
Equivalent to graduation from a regionallyaccredited college or university with a major in accounting or in business administration with courses in accounting. (Note: At least 12 semester credits in accounting or auditing courses is needed six of which must be above the beginning or elementary course level from a regionallyaccredited fouryear college or university).Verification Requirement: You must submit evidence of your Bachelors degree in order to be given credit. Please attach an electronic copy of your diploma and/or official transcript which shows the embossed sealor applicable FCEto your application. Four 4 years of progressively responsible work experience in professional(i.e. post bachelors degree/nonclerical)accounting including or supplemented by work experience demonstrating aptitude or potential for the performance of supervisory duties through successful completion of regular or special assignments which involve some supervisory responsibilities or aspects; by serving as a group or team leader or in similar work in which opportunities for demonstrating supervisory capabilities exist; by completion of training courses in supervision accompanied by application of supervisory skills in work assignments; or by favorable appraisals by a supervisor indicating the possession of supervisory potential.SUBSTITUTION: A Masters degree in Accounting from a regionallyaccredited fouryear college or university will substitute for one of the required four years of professional accounting experience.
