FUNCTION OF WORK:
Conducts investigations on violations regarding Board/Agency policies state and federal statutes Civil Service rules licensure and/or ethics.
LEVEL OF WORK:
Entry.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Direct from a Compliance Investigator 4B Executive Director or higherlevel administrator.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
None.
LOCATION OF WORK:
May be used by all state agencies.
JOB DISTINCTIONS:
Differs from law enforcement investigators by emphasis on administrative rather than criminal investigations.
Differs from Compliance Investigator 2 by performing entrylevel compliance investigations.
Differs from Compliance Investigator 4B by absence of supervision duties.
Conduct investigations into alleged or suspected misconduct by licensed members of applicable board.
Reviews and gathers evidence by taking oral written or taperecorded statements from witnesses.
May conduct surveillance. Investigate reported violations of state federal and agency laws rules and policies.
May testify in Commission hearings board hearings criminal and civil court concerning results of investigations
