Able to work in a fast paced surgical setting. Requires walking standing lifting and handling of supplies and equipment.
Job Summary
Provides professional competent anesthesia care to a wide variety of patients. Treats patients from neonatal to the geriatric population requiring surgical obstetrical and other anesthesia services. Possesses additional training education and/or experience in the provision of anesthesia care to patients who present with complex and unique anesthetic requirements.
Essential Functions
- Provides anesthesia care to patients who present with complicated preexisting disease advanced disease states and/or who present with complex and unique anesthetic requirements.
- Researches communicates instructs and coordinates the anesthetic care for these patients with their anesthesia colleagues.
- Demonstrates clinical methods for student registered nurse anesthetists so that they may gain experience in the provision of anesthesia care to these patients.
- Performs additional departmental duties pertinent to these patients as directed by Leadership.
