Adjunct Professor of Art
The Department of English Communication Culture and Art at Western New England University invites applications to fill an opening for Adjunct Professor of Art in the fall 2025 semester.
The department seeks a candidate who can teach at least one inperson section of a single threecredit studio art course in profile sculpture using clay ideally on Thursdays from 3:30 p.m.6:10 p.m. Some flexibility in course day(s) and time(s) may be negotiable. The ideal candidate will have a Masters in Fine Arts degree; experience teaching studio art to undergraduate students; and a demonstrable dedication to student success.
The successful candidate will also need to craft a syllabus that satisfies the learning objectives associated with the universitys new creative expression general university requirement which will come into effect beginning with the 202526 academic year.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have at minimum a Masters degree in Fine Arts and/or at least five years of experience in teaching sculpture at the postsecondary level. Candidates who will contribute to diversity on campus in all its forms are especially welcome to apply.
