Role Description
The Protein Discovery and Bioanalytics Team (Protein Therapeutics) is seeking a talented biochemist with experience in antibody screening. This scientist will be part of a multidisciplinary team assisting with culturing and transfecting cells developing biochemical methods and highthroughput assays supporting efforts on the automation of protein expression purification characterization and data analysis. The successful candidate must have the ability to work in a matrixed team environment and will collaborate with other teams across the organization.
Experience with molecular biology proteinprotein interactions display technologies and in vitro methods predicting in vivo activity is an advantage but not required. Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.

Work environment:
The placement of this position will be primarily in Fort Collins CO and is a labbased position. Occasional travel to R&D headquarters in Kalamazoo MI may also be requested.
The person filling this position will work in a laboratory setting. There may be exposure to animal pathogens and chemicals. There may be handling of and/or exposure to animal tissue and zoonotic organisms.
