Sr Nodejs Developer TypeScript RESTful APIs Docker Kubernetes GraphQL

Software Requirements:

• Node.js
• JavaScript
• TypeScript
• Databases (e.g. MongoDB MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server)

Overall Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable and highlyavailable RESTful APIs using Node.js technologies
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement new features
• Debug and troubleshoot Node.js applications
• Write clean maintainable and efficient code
• Stay uptodate with the latest Node.js best practices and technologies
• Continuously improve application performance and scalability
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of Node.js applications

Technical Skills:

Backend Development:

• Excellent knowledge of Node.js development
• Minimum 7 years of coding experience in Node.js JavaScript and Databases
• At least 5 years of handson experience in TypeScript
• Practical experience with GraphQL
• Wellversed with CI/CD principles and experience in solving and troubleshooting issues in a distributed services ecosystem
• Understanding of containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to API gateway integrations like 3Scale
• Understanding of SingleSignon or tokenbased authentication (Rest JWT oAuth)
• Possess expert knowledge of task/message queues including AWS Microsoft Azure Pushpin and Kafka

FrontEnd Development:

• Good understanding of frontend technologies like HTML CSS and JavaScript

Experience:

• Minimum 510 years of coding experience in Node.js JavaScript and Databases
• At least 5 years of handson experience in TypeScript
• Handson experience in performance tuning debugging and monitoring
• Experience in banking financial and fintech sectors in an enterprise environment preferred
• Experience in Agile methodology

DaytoDay Activities:

• Write and test Node.js code
• Debug and troubleshoot Node.js applications
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement new features
• Ensure seamless deployment and operation of Node.js applications
• Stay uptodate with the latest Node.js best practices and technologies
• Continuously improve application performance and scalability

Qualifications:

• Degree or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

• Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing deep knowledge and experience
• Selfmotivator and selfstarter with the ability to own and drive tasks without supervision
