Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detailoriented Acoustical Ceiling Project Engineer to join our growing team. This role is perfect for candidates looking to grow their career in construction and engineering with a focus on acoustical ceiling projects. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design planning and coordination of acoustical ceiling projects.
Support the preparation of project plans technical specifications and drawings.
Collaborate with team members architects contractors and clients to ensure project goals are met.
Assist in managing project budgets schedules and materials under supervision.
Participate in site visits to monitor progress and assist in resolving issues.
Perform material takeoffs and help prepare cost estimates.
Provide technical support to the construction team addressing challenges as they arise.
Help ensure projects comply with safety and quality standards.
Maintain detailed project documentation and assist with report preparation.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field (preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience or certifications).
2 years of experience in construction.
Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g. AutoCAD Procore Bluebeam OnScreen Takeoff QuickBid) is a plus.
Eagerness to develop technical skills related to acoustical materials and installation techniques.
Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic knowledge of safety regulations in the construction industry is preferred but can be learned on the job.
Salary Range: $80000$100000 (based on experience and education)
