Job Description

  • Completion of a post secondary education program (Degree or Diploma or equivalent) in Human Resources Labour Relations Law or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of diversified and progressive human resources including a minimum of 3 years labour relations experience; an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience may be considered
  • Experience providing labour relations advice to clients managing grievance disputes collective bargaining and/or providing interpretive advice regarding the application of collective agreements

Reporting to the Senior Lead Disputes and Advisory Services the Labour Relations Consultant is part of the high volume fastpaced team of professionals who provide a variety of labour and employment related services to the City of Edmonton. No day is the same in this role you will balance strong technical skills and experience with curiosity to solve problems and resolve conflict. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and strategic mindset will ensure your success in this challenging and rewarding role.
