Job Description
Job Summary:
The Shuttle Driver at Holiday Inn Fargo is responsible for providing excellent customer service while transporting guests to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner. This role is a parttime hourly position located in Fargo North Dakota and reports to the Guest Services Manager.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $16 per hour paid biweekly. Parttime employees may also be eligible for select benefits such as paid time off and employee discounts at Holiday Inn locations.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate the shuttle bus to transport guests to and from designated locations such as the airport local attractions and corporate offices.
2. Greet all guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude and assist them with any luggage or other needs.
3. Maintain accurate records of shuttle routes pickup and dropoff times and vehicle maintenance.
4. Keep the shuttle bus clean and fueled at all times reporting any maintenance or repair needs to Guest Services Manager.
5. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the shuttle bus.
6. Provide exceptional customer service answering any questions about the local area hotel amenities and other inquiries.
7. Assist in loading and unloading luggage and assisting guests with mobility impairments as needed.
8. Maintain a professional appearance at all times while representing Holiday Inn Fargo.
9. Complete other tasks or projects as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
3. Previous experience in customer service preferred.
4. Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings evenings weekends and holidays.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong knowledge of the local area and attractions.
7. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
8. Must pass a preemployment drug screening and background check.
