Job Description
Seasonal fulltime and parttime and flex staff needed nonexempt employee. Reporting to COO DOO Warehouse Supervisor and possible Lead.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Material handling packing and hand assembly. Counting inserting stacking rubberbanding sorting stapling and collating.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position align and secure workpieces or plastic material against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies. Inserts parts into partial assembly during various stages of assembly to complete product.
Counts finished product to determine completion of production order. Places product in equipment or on the work surface for further processing inspecting or wrapping. Separates product according to weight grade size and composition of the material used to produce the produced product.
Statement of Purpose: The purpose of PDIs atwill Production Intern is to provide exceptional experiential learning that integrates knowledge and theory with practical application and skill development in a professional setting that aims to increase the quality and quantity of those seeking careers in productiontype environments. This program also allows PDI to guide and evaluate potential longterm talent.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sit stand reach frequently and walk occasionally. May be required to Lift/Carry 20lbs or less occasionally.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERN
Must be 18 years or older to work as an Intern at PDI and pass a prehire drug and background screen and random drug screens that may occur at any time and without notice. Interns under 18 are not allowed to work more than 8 hours per 24hour period or more than 40 hours per week.
