Position Title:Parking Ticket Seller
Rate of Pay:$17.50
Position Purpose:
Sells parking tickets to patrons during the annual OC Fair and other ticketed events on the fairgrounds.
Essential Functions:
- Sells parking tickets to patrons for ticketed events held on the fairgrounds.
- Provides excellent customer service to Fair patrons by answering questions and providing information.
- Provides accurate change and maintains accurate inventory of all tickets sold and unsold.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Previous experience handling and exchanging money accurately required along with the ability to balance out at the end of each shift with minimal discrepancies if any.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills a must.
- Must be familiar with different types of tickets.
- Must be detailoriented with the ability to apply basic mathematical skills.
- Must be available to work 23 days of the annual OC Fair.
Special Qualifications:
- Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and must constantly use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time while remaining alert.
Work Environment:
Will work in a fastpaced environment in an outdoor and sometimes indoor environment during all types of weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud particularly when working outdoors.
