Job Description
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking fulltime New Grad RNs in ourMed Surg RN Residencyat Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center located in WinstonSalem North Carolina. A New Graduate Nurse is either a current nursing student nearing graduation from an RN program or a recent graduate with less than six months of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.

- 8 Reynolds Tower:This is a 29bed general Med Surg unit where patients are usually admitted from the ED or step down from the ICU. The unit aims to prepare patients for discharge or continue care as needed.
- Shift: Full TimeDays 7a7p

Job Summary
The New Graduate Nurse provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment planning implementation and evaluation). They lead and direct other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice.
What Youll Need
- Less than 6 months of RN experience
- Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire per unit guidelines
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire per unit guidelines
