Technical Test Consultant SE England ASAP Start
Contract: 3 months initial (likely to extend)
Location: Hybrid 2 days/month onsite in the South East
Rate:450 500pd (Inside IR35
Start Date: ASAP
Ten10 is looking for an experienced and passionateTechnical Tester to join our expert Functional Testing Team working on a highly technical integration product for one of our flagship clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a tester who enjoys working across the full testing lifecycle and is ready to dive into an evolving automation landscape.
Were on the lookout for someone who can hit the ground running blending sharp manual testing skills with solid automation experience.
What Youll Be Doing
- Manual and automation testing for an integration product within a fastpaced Agile environment
- Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality delivery
- Writing and executing SQL scripts for data validation and testing
- Developing and maintaining test automation scripts ideally in Playwright and BDD (Cucumber) frameworks
- Executing API tests using tools such as Postman and SoapUI
- Using source control (GIT) and applying working knowledge of objectoriented programming TypeScript preferred
Wed Love You to Have
- Automation testing experience is a must ideally in Playwright with BDD
- Strong manual testing skills across functional integration and system testing
- Proficiency in SQL able to confidently write and debug scripts
- Exposure to source control systems (like GIT)
- Comfortable working with objectoriented languages (TypeScript a big plus)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman SoapUI etc.
