The job profile for this position is Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor Hybrid which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with eviCore healthcare MSI Inc.
Big data engineer responsible for resolving complex technical issues. Ensure that quality is maintained by following development patterns and standards. Prepare deployment and postdeployment plans to support conversion and deployment of solutions. Interact with architects technical project managers and developers to ensure that solutions meet requirements. Improve coding quality and reliability by implementing good standards and processes. Increase productivity by implementing tools and processes. Build ETL (Extract Transform and Load) processes to allow data to flow seamlessly from source to target. Load and enhance dimensional data models. Leverage code to apply business rules to ensure data is clean and is interpreted correctly by stakeholders. Perform peer code reviews and QA. Drive development and delivery of key business initiatives for Big Data Platform. Collaborate with Business stakeholders to gather Business requirements. Perform ProofofConcept on Big Data Platform to determine optimum solutions. Work with vendors to evaluate Big Data Technologies and resolve technical issues. Collaborate with remote teams (onshore and offshore) for Solution Delivery. Virtual/Work from home benefit (hybrid schedule) available.
Masters or foreign equivalent degree in management information systems computers or engineering plus three years of experience as a big data engineer/developer or a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in management information systems computers or engineering plus five years of experience as a big data engineer/developer. Must have experience with: PySpark; Apache Spark; Python; Hadoop; SQL; Microsoft Azure; Hive; JSON; Shell Scripting.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
