Job Description
Overview
Potowomut Golf Club was established in 1927. In 1947 Walter Johnson an employee of Donald Ross expanded the golf course to 18 holes of championship golf. Each season Potowomut Golf Clubs members and guests play an estimated 28000 rounds of golf. Potowomut Golf Club is recognized for its staff providing great customer service providing a welcome environment for members and guest and events held at the club.
Experience Required
PGM student or higher.
Essential Responsibilities
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Conducting oneself in a professional manner and maintaining a professional image at all times.
- Assist the Head Golf Professional and overseeing the operation.
- Create a welcoming environment for members and guests.
- Promoting all club activities and services.
- Assist with the Junior Golf program.
- Oversee merchandising special orders and basic golf shop maintenance.
- Oversee the Outside Operations / Bag Room.
- Follow the policies for the Golf Shop (opening closing special orders).
- First tee starting and oncourse ranger.
- Assisting with all member and outside tournament preparation.
- Computer efficient in word excel and publisher.
- Club repair.
- Playing golf with members.
