Senior Employee Development Specialist Learning Program Management

Boeing Learning and Development (L&D) is looking for a passionate Senior Employee Development Specialist Learning Program Management to help manage the sustaining business of running our learning portfolio in the Engineering and Corporate learning spaces. This role can be located in Seattle WA Berkeley MO or Hazelwood MO.

We are seeking a person with strong project management/business operations experience who excels at organizing and implementing processes tools and systems for core and common outcomes. They will also lead the administration of our learning portfolio.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a complex and fastpaced environment and has strong operations and communication skills. This person will design and oversee our business operations framework and will manage the learning transactions that makeup a large portion of our L&D portfolio statement of work. This leader will partner with stakeholders to meet business training needs efficiently and smoothly handle course portfolio management activities and drive operational and reporting improvements. They will also be responsible for regular executive reporting and communications.

The role demands excellent verbal and written communication skills business operations skills strong presentation skills/proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Defines project scope and recommends deliverables budget and resources
  • Oversees curriculum development review of course content and instructional materials testing and system access requirements
  • Identifies business specific learning objectives and adapts curriculum content and delivery methods
  • Performs as a lead instructor in a specialized content area
  • Deploys development tools and monitors implementation
  • Identifies potential issues that impact performance and leads the performance analysis and development of improvement recommendations

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience communicating with and presenting to senior and executive leadership
  • 3 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Experience in Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Business Operations
  • Experience with SharePoint Confluence Tableau Power BI and dashboard reporting
  • Ability to effectively partner with Business Stakeholders and Executive Management
