Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivatedFull Time Assistant Manager to join the PLG team at The Cove Hotel in Patterson Lakes.Your management skills will be use in supporting the achievement of set financial targets leading and inspiring the team cocreating the best experiences for our clients and ensuring compliance with all external bodies.
The Cove Hotel is a premier dining and entertainment venue offering one of the most spectacular water views right on the marina in Patterson Lakes.
The bistro offers contemporary casual dining in a relaxed setting; catering to both the traditional indoor style seating by the fireplace and an enclosed deck area capturing the view of the marina.

What will my duties include
Assisting with the achievement of set financial targets.
Stock control and management.
Ensure frontofhouse ambiance and appearance are appropriate at all times.
Staff management including; rostering training and performance management.
Coordination and evaluation of promotions.
Manage venue auditing and compliance requirements.
What we are looking for:
Previous experience in hospitality management.
Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA).
Current Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (RSG).
Current Victorian Gaming Employee Licence.
Food Handlers Certificate.
TAB Compliance.
Energetic and positive cando attitude.
Ability to work productively in a fast paced and agile environment.
Willingness to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
