In this role you will be delivering highquality welltested software from front to back with a focus on security and maintainability. You will join a team that will develop and maintain a system that our client endusers interact with every day. This includes welldesigned APIs and user experiences.
As a Software QA Engineer at TreviPay you will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle by ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will collaborate closely with our development team to identify document and track software defects as well as to develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality.
What will I be doing
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand product requirements identify test scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Develop and execute wellstructured test plans and test cases to validate software functionality performance and reliability.
Perform functional regression integration acceptance and EndtoEnd Testing on various software applications and systems.
Document and track software defects using Jira and work closely with developers to resolve issues promptly.
Participate in the design and implementation of automated UI and API test scripts to streamline the testing process.
Conduct thorough analysis of test results and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups and sprint retrospectives to contribute to the overall development process.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
What do I need to succeed
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field.
At least 7 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies tools and processes.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail.
Experience in both manual and automation testing.
Experience in troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis.
Experience in UI and API automation testing.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium Testim RestAssured Postman.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
Experience with Performance testing tools such as K6 JMeter Site speed etc.
Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) and web application frameworks.
Knowledge of basic SQL queries.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Selfdirected willing to take initiative and proven ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
