A Day in the Life of a Community Relations Intern

The Community Relations Intern supports fundraising outreach and event coordination to strengthen CRMCs community presence. This role involves collaborating with internal teams volunteers and local partners to organize events recruit volunteers and solicit donations. Daily responsibilities include tracking program progress handling data entry for donations and assisting in donor recognition efforts. The intern also contributes to marketing initiatives and community engagement strategies to enhance CRMCs reputation. This position provides a dynamic learning environment with exposure to nonprofit operations public relations and event management.

Education and Experience

Required

• Be registered with a postsecondary institution or enrolled for fall semester (minimum of parttime) with emphasis in Business Marketing or Public Relations. Be a graduate of a postsecondary institution with emphasis in Business Marketing or Public Relations and begin the internship within two weeks of their graduation date.

Preferred

• Experience in an office environment

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employees experience level preferred education/certifications along with market conditions.
