Job Description

Job Summary:

Barton & Gray Mariners Club is dedicated to providing its Members with unmatched experiences on the water operating over 90 Yachts in 33 harbors and offering a range of products including Dayboating Sportfishing Overnight Cruising and more. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development and the BrandStudio the Club Ambassadoris an account management role responsible for overseeing Member retention and harbor development with a Memberfirst approach. Current harbor of oversight includes Harbor Springs MI. This temporary position will be a 6 month temporary role with the hopes to evolve into a FullTime position contingent upon performance.Interested applicants must reside in Harbor Springs MI (or within a commutable distance).


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the ongoing B&G regional account management strategy that aligns with the Clubs mission and longterm goals

  2. Act as a liaison for the company with members in each harbor of oversight including member experience opportunities service mishaps and complaint handling in partnership with the Member Services team.

  3. Ensure product & hospitality consistency across all points of Member interaction including onboard training harbor activities and more

  4. Constantly evaluate Club locations within region and provide feedback to Locations Manager

  5. Strategize yachtinventory allocation and timing in conjunction with B&G Logistics Department to maximize member satisfaction within region

  6. Evaluate all points of Day boatingMember interaction and provide suggestions for improvement

  7. Lead efforts to open new harbor within Region of oversight

  8. Actively coordinate execute and attend regional Memberevents with assistance from B&G Brand Studio

  9. Efficiently communicate all opportunities for sales directly to the Business Development & Sales team for tracking & follow up.

  10. Work with B&G Sales & Business Development teams to explore potential brand partnerships within the region

  11. Gain a deep understanding of the B&G Dayboating experience and identify product gaps in current offerings

Additional Skills & Requirements:
  • Strong experience in account management customer experience or a similar leadership role in luxury hospitality

  • Proven ability to communicate recommendations to executive management team

  • Solid technical background with understanding of Member CRM and database management

  • Skilled at working effectively with various interdepartmental needs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
