Areas of Responsibility:
Planning scheduling and supervision of maintenance activities.
Ensure reliability and improve asset health for equipment in assigned areas.
Provide leadership and a technical resource to department covering 24 hours 7 days per week.
Meet plant objectives as a crossfunctional team member with operations food safety and safety departments
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems.
Maintains production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. Requisitions tools equipment and supplies.
Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Administers training programs to ensure proper operations preventive maintenance and repair programs and procedures.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Further education resulting in a degree or technical certification is preferred
Previous rendering experience is required
Previous leadership experience required
Proficiency in office software (Word Excel and Outlook) required
Proficiency in computerized maintenance management system (SAP) is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Experienced in maintenance leadership in a meat processing production facility is preferred
Ability to work extended hours and weekends is required
