Job Description

Position Overview

Under the direction of the operations supervisor the customer service representative (CSR) is the initial contact with the public via telephone for paratransit services provided by Clallam Transit System (CTS). This position evaluates service requests schedules approved requests and coordinates service delivery. Provides critical contributions to support CTSs mission.

Required Qualifications

Current CTS employee who has successfully completed probation.

Possess a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate (GED) and two years reception and customer service experience; OR any satisfactory equivalent combination of related experience and training that provides required knowledge abilities and skills.

Compensation

Wage begins at $20.61 per hour moving to $21.90 per hour after successful completion of the 180day probationary period. CSRs receive pay increases on their anniversaries up to $26.79wage scale) and annual cost of living increases.

Summary of Working Conditions

This position is not safetysensitive and is represented by the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 587. Work variable hours and days including weekends and holidays based on assigned work. Position is nonexempt and overtime may be required.

CTS transit passes for employee and qualifying dependents.
