Position Title: HousekeeperFulltime

The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) iscurrently seeking highly motivated enthusiastic and experienced Housekeeper.
In this challenging position the successful candidate willreport to the Housekeeping Supervisor and be responsible for: cleaning allsurfaces including floors walls kitchens washrooms emptying and sortinggarbage recyclables and adhering to the college health and safety practices.This position is responsible for cleaning in various areas of the college as requiredincluding deep cleaning public areas. Typical shifts that the successfulcandidates might work include:
Shift times will beTuesdaythrough Saturday from 8:00 Am to 4:00PM.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a housekeeping position orsimilar role
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including (not limited to): standing sweeping pushing/pulling carts reaching forward above and below the shoulders and ability to lift up to 30 kg
- Must be flexible and available to work upon short notice (i.e. same day) when needed
- Excellent time management skills with the ability towork independently and in a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies andequipment and knowledge of sterilization procedures
- Ability to work with floor scrubbers carpet cleanerscarpet shampooers and various other cleaning equipment
- WHMIS qualification an asset
CCNM followsgovernment or sitespecific requirements with respect to vaccination and proofmay be required based on the nature of the role.
