Senior Support Worker
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior support worker based in Barry Vale of Glamorgan

What youll be doing:
- Work alongside the service manager & staff members to maintain a high level of support thats required for the service needs.
- Lead coach and mentor a team of support workers.
- Support 11 and continue to promote positive wellbeing and independent living.
- Be part of an oncall system
- Working within a residential/Respite setting with adults who may have Learning disabilities and or complex needs.
- Whilst behaviors can sometimes be challenging for a select few this is a rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Who you are:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Health & social care or willingness/ability to work towards
- You will be trustworthy reliable with the ability to communicate effectively.
- You will have a positive outlook recognising and respecting differences and encouraging growth.
- You will embrace continuous improvement sharing best practice with an open mind to learning.
- You will treat people equally; remove barriers end empower the people we support and team members to live their best lives.
