Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cloudbased software solutions ensuring scalability reliability and performance.
- Perform system design development testing documentation and maintenance using Java/Python.
- Collaborate effectively with network device developers and UI developers to ensure seamless integration and product quality.
- Participate in requirement analysis and architecture design to shape innovative solutions.
- Ensure software code meets high standards of quality testability maintainability and usability.
- Mentor and guide peers and junior developers to foster team growth and technical excellence.
Skills Requirements:
- Proven expertise in application system design and development with a focus on building scalable and reliable systems.
- Strong understanding of advanced programming concepts such as multithreading memory management microservice and operating systems.
- Extensive experience in architecture implementing and managing highperformance serverside applications on Linux/Unix and cloud platforms.
- Ability to quickly adapt to complex environments and learn new concepts technologies and tools as required.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering robust solutions.
- Selfmotivated independent detailoriented and an accountable team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
Experience Requirements: - 5 years of handson experience in objectoriented software development using Java and Python.
- 5 years of experience developing multithreaded and distributed applications.
- 3 years of experience developing cloud base applicationAWS Azure GCP etc..
- 3 years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- 3 years of experience working with relational (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with LLM tuning is a plus.
- Experience with additional programming languages such as Go Rust or PHP is a plus.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field is preferred.
The US base salary range for this fulltime position is $139100$180100. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits including medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) 11 paid holidays vacation time and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.
Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications experience and geographic location.
