Job Description
We are looking for an innovative Bridge Engineer to design develop and construct a huge range of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting bridges to determine their structural integrity and recommending repairs
- Demonstrated experience in managing road and bridge projects and meeting delivery requirements
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings for final design sketch plans and presentations for several bridge and highway projects.
- Participate in pavement drainage and rightofway maintenance activities alongside superintendents and foremen.
- Coordinates and oversees technical approvals;
- Presents and/or assists at public presentations on technical/design issues;
Requirements
- BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in Finite Element Design Software such as Revit Sofistik Prokon AutoCAD
- Professional registration with ECSA is compulsory
- Over 15 years of extensive experience in the design of bridges
- Masters degree advantageous
