Fitness Connection is now hiring for a Club Manager position. The Club Manager provides daily weekly and monthly direction for Sales and Operations Managers Fitness Consul tants and other hourly teammates. The CM must lead by example in creating and maintaining a strong achievement culture in his/her club and be a team player who believes in the power of changing lives through fitness.

PEOPLE LEADER

BUSINESS DRIVER

Leads a high performing club team that maintain a focuson changing lives through Fitness

Partner with their Area Manager and Club Leadership Team to ensure smooth and timely communication and of initiatives systems & programs

Recruits hires and promotes sales managers operations man agersfitness consultants connection specialists and kids club teammates

Develops and trains sales managers operations managers fitness consultants connection specialists and kids club teammates

Identifies high potential talent

Consistently recognizes and rewards great performance Provides coaching and feedback to build competency

Maintains strong and consistent people practices with all teammates taking appropriate action as needed

Meets or exceeds targets in all club areas on a consistent basis.

Ensures consistent effective communication

Cascades new information & training though both eventbased and ongoing methods

Provides follow up and feedback around initiatives systems and programs to assistant club managers and hourly teammates

Partners with Area Manager to diagnose plan and overcome ongoing challenges

Performs as a subject matter expert leading the team from the front as needed to drive performance

FINANCIAL RESULTS

CLUB STANDARDS

Create and execute proactive plans while coaching The Play every day and adjusting based on results in real time

Ensure a wellrun standard driven club through daily weekly and monthly focus communication and follow up onboth Sales & Operations

Ensures revenue goals are met or exceeded while expense goals remain within budget

Creates and executes forwardlooking club plans Approves allclub schedules to ensure accurate coverage andefficient use labor hours

Analyzes business trends and data to assess and improve club performance both operationally and financially

Leads of daytoday club operations

Holds team accountable to Fitness Connection systems and standards for both sales and operations functions

Monitors adherence to member programs Provides feedback and support around club appearance &maintenance

Ensures consistent retail program

Offers consultation and recommendations to their managers on overcoming operations challenges

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required College Degree preferred
  • For external hire minimum of 12 months of club management with a proven record of success required preferably in the fitness industry.
  • For internal promotion minimum of six months as a Sales or Operations Manager with Fitness Connection; must be in good company standing and have a proven record of performance
  • Knowledge of the Fitness industry as well as the necessary business acumen of running a complete business unit Risk Talent Facilities etc
  • Knowledge and skills in staffing with proven record of results
  • Proficient in a variety of technology systems especially Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook Power Point) and able to adapt to new systems easily
  • Valid state drivers license and clean driving record is required
  • Criminal background check will be performed as a term of employment
  • Position duties require daily standing walking sitting lifting bending squatting and reaching
  • Ability to read analyze and interpret common businessrelated documents such as financial reports and legal documents
  • Ability to respond verbally and in writing to common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information to district management and club leadership and to members of the business community
  • Fluent in written and spoken English required addition of Spanish skills a plus
