Job Summary
The IT and RFP Project Manager plays a critical role in overseeing IT projects and managing Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions and vendor partnerships. This position is responsible for coordinating IT project timelines collaborating with crossfunctional teams and developing structured RFPs to support the companys technology and business objectives. The IT and RFP Project Manager ensures that all projects are completed on time within scope and meet quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities IT Project Management 75

  • Lead and oversee IT projects ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

  • Develop project plans including scope objectives schedules budgets and resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with IT teams vendors and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project deliverables.

  • Monitor project progress identify risks and implement corrective actions to ensure successful completion.

  • Manage communication between internal teams and external partners for seamless project .

  • Oversee system implementation upgrades and technology deployments.

  • Ensure IT projects comply with security policies industry regulations and company standards.

  • Document project requirements progress reports and postproject evaluations.

Secondary Responsibilities RFP Management & Vendor Coordination 25

  • Develop manage and execute RFPs for technology and service vendors.

  • Analyze vendor proposals negotiate contracts and recommend optimal solutions.

  • Ensure that vendor services align with the companys IT infrastructure and business objectives.

  • Maintain records of RFP responses vendor performance and contractual agreements.

  • Provide support in contract renewal processes and vendor compliance monitoring.

Required Skills & Qualifications

IT Project Management Skills (Primary)

Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle methodologies and best practices
Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira Asana Trello or Microsoft Project).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure software development and cybersecurity principles.
Excellent problemsolving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements.

    RFP & Vendor Management Skills (Secondary)

    Experience in developing and managing RFP processes.
    Ability to assess vendor proposals negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
    Strong analytical and decisionmaking skills for selecting the best technology solutions.
    Knowledge of procurement processes and compliance standards.

      Education & Experience:

      Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
      Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management and RFP coordination.
      PMP PRINCE2 or relevant project management certification is a plus.
      Experience working with technology vendors and contract negotiations preferred.

        Additional Skills:

        Strong communication and leadership skills to work with crossfunctional teams.
        Detailoriented with the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
        Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities.
        Bilingual abilities in English/Spanish are a plus.

          Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

          Office environment with occasional travel for vendor meetings and project site visits.
          Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
          Primarily desk work with occasional handson IT system assessments.
