Warehouse Order Picker - Starting at 2313 an hour

URM Stores is currently looking for motivated Warehouse Order Pickers to join our amazing team! What to expect day to day: If being physically active at work is important to you you definitely need to read on!

• You will be moving bending & lifting items up to 80 lbs. all throughout your entire shift and nearly 6000 lbs. per hour its like a gym membership without the gym membership!
• Safe operation of electric pallet jacks to move throughout the warehouse to build organize and palletize product and staging orders when they are ready for shipment.
• You will be responsible for preparing customer orders that grow our business instilling and reinforcing safety above all else.
• On occasion work in a refrigerated/freezer portion of the warehouse with temperatures ranging from 35 degrees to as low as negative 25 degrees in the freezer.
• Must be consistent attentive to detail and informed about the products the company provides to be able to provide the customers exactly what they need and expect.
• Communicate with supervisors and warehouse department employees any issues related to performing duties.
• Find and communicate ways to improve and or increase productivity.
• Conducted day by day checks of powered equipment by means of a safety checklist to make sure such equipment is in fine working order.
• Must be able to step up and down an 8inch step continually throughout the workday.
• This Union position will be part of Teamsters Local 690.
• Other duties as assigned.
