Job Description

Were looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Caregiver to join our team! In this role youll become a trusted partner to residents supporting them with daily living activities and fostering a safe nurturing environment.
Heres what youll do:
Become an extension of resident care: Provide assistance with daily activities ensuring residents feel comfortable and supported.
Create a warm and welcoming home: Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents prioritizing their wellbeing.
Build strong connections: Communicate effectively with residents families coworkers and community members to ensure a collaborative and supportive care team.
Be a champion for resident goals: Document care accurately take vitals and lead or assist with resident activities that promote independence and enjoyment.
Were looking for someone who:
Has a genuine desire to help others especially those with disabilities or traumatic brain injuries (experience a plus!
Thrives in a team environment and builds strong relationships
Is a clear communicator adaptable and resourceful
Takes initiative and can prioritize tasks effectively
Is detailoriented and enjoys accurate documentation
Additional Qualifications:
6 months of professional care experience preferred
Fluency in English
Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs at shoulder height 50 lbs occasionally) with good physical mobility
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Proof of COVID19 vaccinations (first 2 doses & boosters) and flu shot (OctMarch) required on the first day
TB test and Hep B vaccination (optional) required within 30 days
Position Type: Long Term
Pay: $17
Schedule: MondayFriday and weekend if needed 7am3pm
