Custodian PT

The overall responsibility of cleaning the facility inside and out to maintain a neat and clean environment for employees of Andrew Wommack Ministries students and staff of Charis Bible College as well as visitors.

Essential Duties:

• Clean vacuum and straighten chairs in the auditorium as well as classrooms and offices.
• Dusting sweeping/washing/waxing solid floor surfaces cleaning windows/mirrors.
• Clean kitchen/dining room tables fixtures and appliances restocking plastic ware and paper plates etc. straightening furniture and freshening up.
• Clean bathrooms and fixtures and restock bathroom amenities.
• Set up the auditorium and classrooms for school as well as other events.
• Empty trash cans and maintain the cleanliness of the facility as directed.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good technical reading and problemsolving skills.
• Must be able to operate a Windowsbased computer and be familiar with Microsoft Office software.
• Must be able to perform physical labor and able to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Develop and maintain cooperative working relations with those contacted in the course of work.
• Must be able to use and handle various cleaning products.
• Basic skills for operating cleaning equipment tools for general cleaning.
• Must have good time management skills.
• Must be able to work independently and be a selfstarter.
• Must be professional and friendly.
• Must be able to physically lift 50lbs.
• May be required to operate industrial weight carpet shampooer/floor scrubber and floor polisher.
