About us:
Aevas mission is to bring the next wave of perception to a broad range of applications from automated driving to industrial robotics consumer electronics consumer health security and beyond. Aeva is transforming autonomy with its groundbreaking sensing and perception technology that integrates all key LiDAR components onto a silicon photonics chip in a compact module. Aeva 4D LiDAR sensors uniquely detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position allowing autonomous devices like vehicles and robots to make more intelligent and safe decisions.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Business Development & Product Marketing to drive our growth in industrial automation precision manufacturing and factory automation markets. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in laser displacement technology and highprecision sensing solutions for industrial applications. You will define market strategies build key partnerships and drive product adoption working closely with engineering sales and marketing teams.

What youll be doing:

    • Develop and execute gotomarket strategies for Aevas laser displacement and highprecision sensing solutions in industrial automation.
    • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with OEMs system integrators and key industry players.
    • Lead business development efforts to expand Aevas presence in manufacturing robotics and industrial automation sectors.
    • Responsible for sales and business development of new products to largescale commercial orders.
    • Shape product positioning and messaging to effectively communicate Aevas value proposition in precision measurement and automation.
    • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define customer needs market requirements and product roadmaps.
    • Represent Aeva at industry conferences and trade shows positioning the company as a leader in highprecision sensing technology.
    • Secure and develop customer relationships successfully to production.
    • Drive customer engagement and feedback loops to optimize productmarket fit and accelerate adoption.

What youll have:

    • 10 years of experience in business development product marketing or strategic sales within industrial automation precision sensing or laser displacement technology.
    • Deep technical understanding of laser displacement sensors LiDAR 3D camera linescanner and other highprecision measurement technologies used in manufacturing and robotics.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful gotomarket strategies for hightech industrial products.
    • Strong network within industrial automation factory automation and highprecision measurement industries.
    • Experience working crossfunctionally with engineering sales and product management teams.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.

Nice to haves:

    • Background in optics photonics or semiconductorbased sensing technologies.
    • Prior experience working with robotics metrology or machine vision companies.
    • Experience scaling business operations in a highgrowth startup environment.
    • Technical degree (Physics Engineering or related) with an MBA preferred.

$178000 $241000 a year
Salary pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range the successful candidates starting base pay will be determined based on factors including jobrelated skills experience certifications qualifications relevant education or training and market conditions. These ranges are subject to change in the future.

Depending on the position offered equity bonus and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to comprehensive medical dental and vision coverage pretax commuter and health care/dependent care accounts 401k plan life and disability benefits flexible time off paid parental leave and 11 paid holidays annually.
