Position Overview
Carries out admission documentation procedures for patients/residents courteously accurately and in accordance with established Health Centre policies and procedures.

Experience
- One 1 year previous experience in registration is required or the successful completion of a recognized Health Access Admission course.
Exprience

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Grade 12 with keyboarding speed of 55 wpm.

Certification/Licensure/Registration
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.

Qualifications and Skills
- Must be able to speak French at the predetermined linguistic level.
- Accurate effective communication in English.
- Medical terminology and previous experience operating a computer terminal is required.
- Works within the Centres core values philosophy vision C.Q.I. goals policies and procedures.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be capable of functioning under stressful conditions.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing education and participates in professional activities for personal and professional growth.

- Aptitude sexprimer en franais un niveau linguistique prdtermin.
- Communication prcise et efficace en anglais.
- La terminologie mdicale et une exprience antrieure de lutilisation dun terminal informatique sont ncessaires.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
