Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Paraprofessional Family Room Liaison
QUALIFICATIONS
An Associates degree OR completion of 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours at an institution of higher learning OR demonstrated proficiency in the ability to assist in the instruction of reading writing and mathematics via state or locally approved competency test.
Evidence of good mental and physical health.
Dependable with good work attendance record.
Must be able to lift 50pounds.
OTHER INFORMATION
Reports to: Building Principal
Work Schedule: 185 days
Hours to Work: 8.0 hours per day

12. Other duties as assigned
A family resource room in schools will serve as the focal point for encouraging and enhancing family and community involvement. The liaison is required to complete a training sessions with additional inservices. Liaisons will be required to participate in special activities determined by the coordinating team. Some evening duties will be required i.e. parent/teacher conferences parenting activities open house etc.
Candidates need to have an application completed and an interview to determine the necessary qualifications for this position.
