SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is seeking experienced Bridge Carpenters for projects in Schuylkill Luzerne Columbia and Northumberland Counties as well as the Reading and Allentown areas. We are looking for selfmotivated hardworking individuals to perform carpentry tasks on bridges and other heavy civil construction projects across the region.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Form and pour concrete structural elements using panel formwork systems such as Peri or similar as well as stickbuilt wood formwork.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate of tasks.
- Strip formwork after concrete has set.
- Perform concrete finishing as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 23 years of relevant experience in bridge carpentry or a related field.
- Ability to pass a DOT preemployment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic teamoriented mindset and willingness to learn.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from a supervisor.
- Comfortable working at heights and over water as required.
- Willing to work in various outdoor conditions including heat cold and rain.
- Possess basic hand tools necessary for carpentry tasks.
- Commitment to following all company safety policies and working in a safe manner at all times.
