Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is already working with another company and clients but is seeking additional hours. As a caregiver with our organization you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in need of care and support.
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
Assist with mobility and transfers ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary requirements and preferences.
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry cleaning and organizing to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for clients.
Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to promote socialization and emotional wellbeing.
Document and report any changes in clients health behavior or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients and their families.
Collaborate effectively with other members of the caregiving team to ensure continuity of care and adherence to care plans.
Participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge.
Compensation:$16.50$17.50
This companionship and caregiving position offersflexible hoursand opportunities to assist seniors on Morning Afternoon and Weekendshifts. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care while others require 24hour care. Parttime and Fulltime availability.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a caregiver preferably with elderly or disabled individuals.
Valid certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients and their families.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Reliable transportation to travel to clients homes as needed.
Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures.
