Job Description
Design & Development: Design components and systems using SOLIDWORKS
Prototyping & Testing: Develop test and refine prototypes with FEA analysis for robustness
Field Verification: Conduct field visits to assess performance and gather improvement data
Manufacturing Support: Ensure designs are feasible and costeffective in manufacturing
Team Collaboration: Work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize designs
Project Management: Oversee projects from concept to launch while meeting deadlines
Skills & Experience:
Engineering/Design Experience with minimum35 years in a manufacturing industry.
Design for Manufacturing Strong understanding of manufacturing design and build sequences.
Extensive experience with SolidWorks
Experience in agriculture is a plus.
MS Office Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Qualification:
Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronic Engineering degree (BEng or BTech)
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
