Job Description
Clean Harbors/Synergy Oil is looking for a Local Class A Tanker Driver for refinery to shuttle VGO and UMO to and from 2 separate rail spurs to join their safety conscious team in Kingsland GA. Driver would be responsible to set up hoses from tanker to pump and then pump to candy cane at the rail spurs. The driver would work with the rail operators to load and offload. MondayFriday Start time 5:006:00AM and work 1214 hours per day. Some Saturday work will be needed based off of available hours. Home daily. If shuttle work is not available driver can be asked to cover UMO pick ups that may require the driver to stay in a hotel room. This could be a few times a year if any at all. Starting at $28.00 per hour. 6570 hours per week. OT after 40 hours.

- Drivers average $90$120K per year
- $7500 signonbonus available
- Daily home time
- Compensation includes hourly wages.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Operates tractor trailer tanker units
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/nonhazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
- Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintains daily logs time sheets expense reports dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- 12 months of Class A driving experience
- 3 months of tanker experience
- HAZMAT and TANKER endorsements
- Ability to climb and work from heights
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
- Forklift exp (preferred)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
