Job Description

About Us:
Peachtree Group is a privately held fully integrated real estate investment management lending and servicing platform. The company owns operates manages and develops hotels and invests in hotel and other commercial real estaterelated assets throughout the United States. Through its affiliate Peachtree Group Hospitality Management Peachtree manages the performance of 100 hotels across 27 brands with 14000 rooms in 26 states.

The Regional Controller will oversee multiple properties accounting operations including monthend balance sheet and bank reconciliations intercompany accounts control compliance cash management and taxes. This is a multiproperty position that supports a portfolio of majority selectservice properties. You must be able to supervise and direct the financial and accounting activities of the hotel safeguard hotel assets and prepare financial reports following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Uniform System of Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manages all accounting operations including daily income journal AP invoice review cash flow analysis process check run balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
  2. Oversees the monthly accounting close for assigned properties.
  3. Prepare monthly financial statements. Provide financial guidance and support to the hotel leadership team in reaching financial targets of revenue and expense centers and budgeted capital expenditures.
  4. Monitor and reinforce controls to prevent loss or misappropriation.
  5. Support the acquisitions team during due diligence and closing process.
  6. Assist with external audit requests.
  7. Required to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary to complete monthend requirements before all stated deadlines.
  8. Be a critical contributor to the longterm strategic planning of the company and leader in revenue maximization initiatives.
  9. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with multiunit hotel director of finance area/regional controller roles required.
  • Effective in prioritizing work and following through on commitments.
  • Experience managing work under deadlines that require the organization of multiple tasks and objectives.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exemplary communication (verbal and written) organization and presentation skills.
  • Display analytical and problemsolving ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel.
  • Experience with M3 HIA and Profit Sword.
  • Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
