Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a First Line Support Assistant to join our friendly IT support team based in Kettering.
Salary 27500 plus bonus
Type Permanent Full Time
Working Pattern Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Working as a First Line Support Assistant the successful candidate will be required to assist in the daily running of an efficient IT department ensuring that the maximum equipment and systems are available to authorised users.
We are looking for a confident and organised person who has the ability to handle a heavy workload effectively whilst maintaining the highest levels of accuracy.
Other key areas of responsibilities include:
- Dealing with all first line support queries within the parameters provided.
- Assisting in the running of the Information Technology for the Company.
- Developing spreadsheets to record statistical information.
- Ensuring that back up regimes are adhered to and recorded.
- Ensuring that Antivirus updates and scans are completed and recorded.
- Assisting end users with configuration of their installed software and computer.
- Ensuring that system security is maintained and issues are reported.
- Maintaining software and hardware inventory lists around the estate.
- Carry out PC repairs and building of new ones.
Key Requirements:
- A background working within an IT role is ideal. However the candidate must have previously worked in an officebased Team environment and demonstrated the ability to work to a logical and approved process.
- Must be articulate possess excellent customer service and communication skills and work well under pressure.
- Must be a strong team player.
