Job Description

Hire Resolves client in food industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced South African Millwright to join their team in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain conveyors pumps motors gearboxes and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations (HACCP GMP).
  • Document maintenance activities and update CMMS.
  • Participate in process improvements and plant upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Tradetested Millwright (Red Seal) qualification.
  • 35 years of experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong mechanical electrical and automation skills (PLC hydraulics pneumatics).
  • Willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
  • Must be fluent in Afrikaans to understand Dutchspeaking colleagues.
