Job Description
CLIN AST/ASO/FULL PROF
The Department of Cardiology at the University of Florida College of MedicineJacksonville seeks an Electrophysiologist at the academic rank of Clinical Assistant Associate Full Professor. This is a tenure or nontenure track position and will report directly to the Chief of Cardiology.
Our internationally recognized faculty are leaders in cardiac care research and division provides services across Northeast Florida including at the UF Health Cardiovascular Center which has the regions only fully integrated comprehensive heart programs and the resources of an academic medical center. The centers programs include the Coronary Interventional ProgramNuclear Program Electrophysiology Program NonInvasive Program and Peripheral Interventional Program.
Responsibilities
- Participates (in conjunction with Division Chief) as requested in the longrange planning of EP Labs including but not limited to equipment selection budgeting and staffing.
- Provides and maintains a high level of quality inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology care.
- Ensures the maintenance of accurate complete and timely patient and other records regarding EP Lab in order to facilitate the delivery of quality patient care.
- Participate in the electrophysiology oncall schedule/rotation.
- Assist Management in maintain (acquiring) all appropriate accreditations for Electrophysiology Laboratories
- Active participation Electrophysiology Fellowship Program.

Salary:
Salary is negotiable commensurate with experience and qualifications
Must be MD/DO Ability to obtain a Florida Medical License
BE/BC in Cardiology with high interest and expertise inElectrophysiology
