Summary: Provide regularly scheduled activities in a nonresidential setting that are designed to foster the acquisition of skills build positive social behavior and interpersonal competence foster greater independence and personal choice as part of the person centered team. Career planning or prevocational activities to develop learning opportunities and career options based on the individuals interests and skill set.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 6 months experience working in a commercial laundry facility. Prior experience working with developmentally challenged adults a plus. Equivalent combination of education training skills and experience may be considered.
Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement and volume.
Reasoning Skills Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or twostep instructions; ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Licenses/Certifications CPR certification; Safety and First Aid
Computer Skills Requires ability to use Word processing to create and complete routine reports; and to use Access database software to enter and track data.
