In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Drive product enhancements and design modifications leading the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process with precision.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stackup principles to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.
• Apply structured problemsolving techniques to address complex engineering challenges (Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is a plus).
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize products processes and systems.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to prevent recurring issues.
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams to ensure technical excellence in product design and manufacturing.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and standard practices
• Guide and mentor junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical growth.
• Stay informed on emerging engineering trends technologies and methodologies to enhance product development.
• Oversee testing experimentation and simulations to validate design concepts and improve performance.
• Provide technical expertise to support manufacturing quality control and production line setup.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary projects demonstrating knowledge of electronics and instrumentation.
• Find opportunities for designformanufacturability cost reduction and product optimization.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in engineering processes and methodologies.

For This Role You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years of experience in engineering roles with a strong focus on problemsolving
• Validated ability to analyze data identify patterns and develop effective solutions
• Handson experience with solving tools methodologies and standard processes
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles industry regulations and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and lead projects effectively

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with Hazardous Location Certifications (ATEX IECEx CSA etc.
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) to optimize production processes
• Prior experience working with pneumatic hydraulic or electrical valve actuators is preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering design calculations including fasteners seals structural analysis gears motors bearings powder metallurgy springs castings injection molding and more
