Job Description
The Rubrik Cloud Direct team helps customers manage and analyze petabytes of data and billions of files and objects. We make it easy for businesses to protect search secure and analyze all of their data simply and scalably. This is a massive challenge and were just getting started so there is a lot of opportunity for personal growth and contribution. Rubrik Software Engineers are selfstarters driven and can manage themselves. We believe in giving engineers responsibility not tasks. Our goal is to motivate and challenge people to do their best work.
Responsibilities:
- Create test and scale the service infrastructure that powers our product.
- Analyze and improve the efficiency of our cloud resource usage.
- Develop build and test system tooling to increase developer productivity.
- Drive operational excellence by building and improving product telemetry.
- Maintain a working knowledge of security principles and apply it to infrastructure design.
- Create and maintain documentation of key infrastructure components.
Were looking for:
- 3 years of experience
- Experience with some of the following:
- CI/CD platforms and testing frameworks
- Infrastructure as code
- Build systems
- Telemetry platforms
- At least one cloud computing platform (AWS GCP Azure
- Containers and container orchestration (e.g. docker lxc kubernetes)
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems concepts
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking
- Familiarity with Linux
- Proficiency with Go Terraform and Bash are a plus
- Excited by a customercentric development environment
