Job Description

Were working with a growing global manufacturing company that is seeking aTax Manager to join its corporate finance team which spansacrossNorth America Europe and Asia The organization valuesinnovation technical expertise and collaboration offering a dynamic workenvironment with opportunities for professional growth and development.This is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing organization with a strong global footprint.

The Tax Manageroversees all aspects of the companys corporate taxfunction including federal state and local compliance tax planning andreporting. The role manages relationships with external tax advisors ensurestimely and accurate preparation of tax filings and maintains compliance withapplicable tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities include oversight ofincome tax and sales/use tax filings tax provision calculations estimatedpayments and transfer pricing documentation and analysis.

This positionalso partners directly with company leadership onfamilyrelated tax matters serving as a key advisor for privately heldentities and managing thirdparty advisors supporting those efforts. Thisindividual supervises a tax analyst and acts as the inhouse expert ontaxrelated issues supporting internal teams with guidance journal entriesreconciliations and the use of indirect tax software. Additional dutiesinclude tax strategy development nexus reviews cash repatriation planningand staying current on relevant tax law and GAAP changes.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or relatedrequired. Masters in Taxation preferred

Experience in global manufacturing

CPA highly preferred.

Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and filingrequirements

Knowledge of trust taxation

Computer skills: Microsoft Excel SAP Vertex experience
