Summary:
VCUs School of Education (SOE) seeks a CISTEME Program Assistant II who is responsible for providing support managing and executing several initiatives and projects associatedwith the Center for Innovative STEM Education (CISTEME). Responsibilities can include data andresearch support support with event planning and working with K12 teachers and students in localschool districts. Applicants must enjoy working within a team environment and have an interest inadvancing STEM education.

  • Assist with the planning and of the Metro Richmond Science & Engineering Fair.
  • Assist in the management of a districtwide STEM Ambassadors program.
  • Collaborate with other students and professional staff.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings as needed.
  • Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Students with STEMrelated majors are strongly encouraged to apply (biochemistry biology or chemistry major in sophomore standing or higher.
  • Experience and working knowledge with Google Docs Sheets Slides Drive etc.
  • Student must possess strong organizational & communication skills along with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to selfmanage time and adhere to deadlines.
