Job Description
The financial industry is growing at a record pace but our data providers are still stuck in the past with cumbersome onboarding processes complicated APIs slow infrastructure and expensive licensing costs.
Databento is the nextgeneration market data provider with the radical idea that you should only pay for the data that you use. We power the worlds largest finance and fintech institutions and lower the barrier of entry for small startups gaining over 4000 users during our first year of launch. Our team consists of former data users from firms like Two Sigma Belvedere Pico Flow Traders and Tower Research.

Responsibilities
Youll help oversee the companys gotomarket (GTM) strategy digital media growth metrics and overall marketing plan. This includes the following.
- Lead or colead social media on LinkedIn and X including valuable shortform posts longform technical blog posts videos polls and more.
- Drive ideas and efforts to create PR partnerships case studies and comarketing opportunities with other companies in our industry.
- Improve the companys SEO and SEM strategy as well as other digital ad placements backlink opportunities and website optimizations.
- Execute various inbound and outbound campaigns; track relevant metrics to determine the ROI of campaigns and marketing channels.
- Research competitors and their marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with executives to make decisions regarding the budget branding and direction of the company including highlevel decisions regarding agencies.
- Create and maintain a successful brand and image.
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate can communicate with ease on various platforms (social media blog posts technical content press releases conferences etc). We also look for the skills listed below.
- 02 years of internship and/or working experience in B2B SaaS in areas like SEO digital marketing growth marketing social media and/or PR. We will likely reject those with too many years of experience as this is meant to be an entrylevel position (see salary details below).
- A natural interest in posting and engaging frequently with our community of quants and developers on LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Knowledge of CRMs like Hubspot as well as SEO metrics growth metrics and content analytics.
- An interest in quant trading market data and/or the financial industry.
- A desire to work at a fastgrowing fintech startup.
We pay strictly market rate for all roles at the beginning and we get our data from Carta. The market rate starting salary for this role is $6080k base with equity benefits and performancebased bonuses.
