Element Toronto Life Sciences has current opening for a Chemist II to join our growing team in Mississauga.
Bachelors degree in chemistry or materials sciences
25 Years handson experience with:PANalytical Empyrean powder Xray diffraction (must have experience with HighScore Data Collector OmniTrail and OmniTrust) Quantachrome NOVA 2200e BET specific surface area analysis of APIs and excipients using a Novawin software Pharmaceutical excipient viscosity testing (capillary and Brookfield) cGMP testing in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory including experience CFR 21 Part 11 compliant software for instrument operation and electronic review and audit trail reviews
Practical experience with operational excellence including daily SQDC support and leading 5S projects in a laboratory setting.
Strong verbal and writing skills in English
Good time management and prioritization
Strong attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to plan daily work and arrange activities to meet deadlines
Follows instructions both written and verbal and able to provide clear instruction to others
Good critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a team environment
